Roos is a single mother with a physical disability living with her children on a small piece of farmland in Banyuwangi.
She dreams of giving her children access to education, healthcare and a better future — without having to sell her land.
Forest Rebirth Foundation supports Roos by renting her land long-term (5-10 years), ensuring her a stable monthly income while preserving the land for sustainable use.

Provide Roos with a guaranteed income
Build an access road to her land
Cover school fees and healthcare for her children
Support a new prosthetic and mobility solutions
Improve her home and living conditions
Develop small-scale eco-projects for food and income

Project 4 — FairFarm Licin | Banyuwangi Highlands
“Help Local Farmers Restore Their Land & Future.”
Deep in the hills of Licin, a small group of farmers is struggling to keep their land alive. Years of chemical farming have left the soil tired, fragile, and dependent.
They dream of going back to organic farming — restoring the earth, growing healthy food, and working in harmony with nature. But organic farming takes time. Time they don’t have without support.

Restore the damaged soil through organic farming techniques
Support farmers during the transition period
Provide education & training in permaculture and regenerative agriculture
Create a pilot project for future FRF FairFarms across Indonesia

Agus is a respected local figure, known for his hospitality and simple way of life. His small office near Banyuwangi station — a gathering place for friends, neighbors, and travelers — will soon be demolished due to a road expansion project.
